5         21st or 22nd October 2008 Learning Styles, VAK, Instruction sheets

6         11th or 12th November 2008 Study Skills & Work Environment, Memory Trays, Note-taking

7         25th or 26th November 2008 Exam Techniques (timetables, preparation, rules, questioning-explain, outline  evaluate)

8         3rd or 4th March 2009 Review of Mock GCSE’s, Results and Predicted Grades

9         24th or 25th March Coursework follow-up, Evaluation Options after GCSE

Note:

• Each pupil will have their own Mentoring Card which will be signed by the class teacher and  the Mentor – No Card No Mentoring;
• A roll will be taken for each session;
• A Careers Information File will be available for each session

Dates for GCSE Maths Modules are as follows

Year 11 Tuesday 20th January and Tuesday 23rd June

Year 12 Monday 9th March
