The Art & Design dept occupies an area on the East wing of the ground floor of the school. We have a two-dimensional study room complete with screen-printing facilities and well equipped for traditional and digital photography. There is an integral office/store room connecting to a three-dimensional study room with an open plan ceramic work area and a kiln room. There is also mobile general art classroom adjacent to the department. Art classes are also held in the Learning Support Centre, which is also in the East wing of the school.
The art department is well equipped with up to date computing facilities, including flatbed colour scanners,
digital cameras, digital colour printer etc. Programmes of Study follow the Revised NI Curriculum. NI GCSE and ELQ are offered in the senior school. Results from these in the past have been very successful with 100% pass rate.
